I hope everyone had a relaxing and fun Thanksgiving break!
We are just 3 and 1/2 weeks from Christmas break, it will be here before we know it! Next week we have Make It, Take It, Give it on Thursday, December 8th. Our class among with the other 3rd Grade classes has been asked to play a handbell performance that evening. I am sending home permission slips that must be returned by Wednesday November 30th if your child wants to participate. There is a limited number of handbells, so participants will be chosen on a first come, first serve basis. I hope everyone has a great week! Mrs. Adams

Thanksgiving is almost here along with a nice long weekend! I hope everyone enjoys it and gets to relax a little bit!
In math, we are continuing to develop our multiplication and division solving skills! In reading, we are finishing up a biography on Martin Luther King Jr. In writing, we are publishing our first informational books. In social studies we are learning about dispute resolution. Classroom need: We are running very low on boxes of tissues in our class, and I have a feeling we will need many more in the months to come. If you can, please send a box with your student, we will all appreciate it! November is already half way over! It has been going so fast and next week is Thanksgiving!
This week, we are starting Topic 5 in math and continuing to work on our informational texts. I am so excited about how much everyone is learning about their topic! Important dates to remember: Thursday, November 17th- Veteran's Day Assembly Wednesday November 23- Friday, November 25- NO School for Thanksgiving break. Have a great week! Mrs. Adams |
