This week we are starting to learn about fractions in Math. We will also be planting plants in Science to learn about the plant life cycle.
We are starting to prepare for the MAP test in reading by reading different stories and answering MAP style questions. The MAP test will be at the end of April. Thursday night, Willard South will host Literacy Night from 6-7. Each grade level is preparing activities to go along with "How to Eat Fried Worms". I hope to see everyone here. Tuesday, March 7th will be McTeacher night at McDonald's on Chestnut and West Bypass from 4-8. Have a great week! Mrs. Adams

Our Friendship Valentine's party was so much fun! Thank you for sending in money and cards to make our party so great!
We started a mystery unit in Reading, and will be continuing to use our detective skills to solve the mystery this week. I am seeing everyone work so hard on their persuasive speeches to make them the best they can in writing. In math, we are revisiting multiplication. In Social Studies, we are finishing up our geography unit and will have an assessment on Thursday. I hope everyone has a great week! Mrs. Adams This week, there are a few important dates to remember.
Tuesday Feb. 7, we have our food drive. This month, the food pantry is needing pasta items, either canned or boxed. Instead of hat day, anyone who donates can dress like a twin with someone! We are also holding a coin drive for the WCCF this week, so send in your spare change. Friday will be our Valentine's friendship party from 10:45-11:30. Valentine's boxes or bags can be brought. Our class also earned our Tigerific Token Party last week! We will be celebrating on Friday before our party by watching a movie. Students may bring in a stuffed animal and wear pajamas if they want. Friday is an early out day. School will release at 12:30. Have a great week! Mrs. Adams |
